Progress and reports

Track hifz progress

Enable the hifz log for a classroom and record Sabak, Sabqi, and Manzil entries with scores.

On this page4 sections

The hifz log records what each student recited and how well it went, so teachers and parents can follow the memorisation journey over time.

Enable hifz for a classroom

Hifz logging is switched on per classroom. Edit the classroom under Dashboard → Classrooms and enable the hifz option; the classroom then appears under Dashboard → Hifz.

The three recitation types

  • Sabak — the new lesson memorised for that day.
  • Sabqi — recent revision of recently memorised portions.
  • Manzil — long-term revision of older portions.

Record a day's entries

  1. Go to Dashboard → Hifz and open the classroom's register for the day.
  2. For each student, record what they recited for Sabak, Sabqi, and Manzil.
  3. Give each recitation a score out of 10, or mark it as not heard.
  4. Mark students who were away as absent, then save.

What parents see

Parents follow their child's hifz progress from the parent portal and mobile app, including recent entries and scores.
